Does it work on toenails? Yes. It's great for a quick at-home pedicure too.
Can I use it on gel or acrylic nails? It's made for natural nails. It can smooth the surface, but it isn't designed to remove gel or acrylics.
Safety: Use light pressure and keep the pen moving. Don't use it on very thin, damaged or infected nails, or on the skin around the nail.
